GOOF

Goof is a punk-driven project from the San Francisco Bay Area led by songwriter and guitarist Ahmed Amer Elsayed. Built on a foundation of distorted guitar, melodic bass lines, and powerful, rhythmically complex drums, Goof’s sound bridges raw punk energy with musical depth.

Drawing inspiration from the Egyptian music Ahmed grew up with, Goof’s lyrics explore serious and introspective themes—delivered through uplifting, driving melodies. The result is a sound that merges punk and metal attitude with cultural influence and emotional weight.

Currently evolving, Goof operates as a flexible live project with rotating musicians, actively building toward a consistent lineup while continuing to perform and develop its sound.
